Dissemination of Failure Information Committee

Mission:
We recognize that failure information exists that has been withheld or inexpediently released to the public, and that errors have reoccurred. The committee seeks to:
- facilitate dissemination of failure information, such as by developing standardized protocols;
- create opportunities for dissemination, such as databases and conferences;
- conduct dissemination for the ultimate benefit of the public, such as presentations at conferences;
We develop repositories, seminars, audio-visual productions, conference sessions, journals, and books. Our current emphasis is in two areas: the use of the Internet for dissemination of failure information.
